Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Samajbadi Party (NSP) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is leaving for India today.
According to his secretariat, Bhattarai is flying to India on a week-long visit at the invitation of the Nepal Samajbadi Party Migration Committee.
During the visit, he is scheduled to discuss and interact with the Nepali community in India, as well as participate in special Teej celebrations, and deliver a lecture on Nepal's economic development.
During his stay in India, Dr. Bhattarai is also scheduled to meet with intellectuals and civil society leaders who are informed about Nepal-India relations.
Dr. Bhattarai's programs will be held in Goa, Karnataka, New Delhi, and Chandigarh. He will return home on September 22.
