Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has landed in New York, USA.
The Prime Minister's delegation, which left on Saturday evening to attend the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations, reached New York today.
Nepal's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Lok Bahadur Thapa, has welcomed the Prime Minister Dahal's team at the John F Kennedy International Airport.
Prime Minister Prachanda will address the 78th General Assembly on Wednesday. Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to go to China from America on September 22.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the visit to China, Prime Minister Dahal will hold bilateral discussions and reach an understanding on issues including energy, physical infrastructure, transportation, agriculture.
