Nepse plummets 6 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has plummeted by six points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

According to the benchmark index, the Nepse decreased by 6.59 points to settle at 1897.86 points.

However, the amount of transactions has increased today compared to the previous day.

Nepse witnessed a transaction of Rs 1,023,000,036 today despite a decline of six points.

The benchmark index witnessed a transaction of only Rs 946,059,000 on Monday even though the index went up by 21 points.

Similarly, sub-indices of 11 groups except for banking and investment groups have been negative.
