With the aim of promoting peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region, a conference of the army chiefs of the region is being held from September 25 to 27 in New Delhi, the capital of India.
The conference will be attended by the commanders-in-chief of more than 30 countries, Indian Army officials said.
According to them, the main objective of the conference is to develop partnership and cooperation, exchange of ideas and mutual understanding between the countries of the Indo-Pacific region.
The conference will discuss issues of mutual interests and security interests.
According to the Indian Army, the conference will be important to discuss all matters related to security, exchange of information to prevent criminal/terrorist activities, promote peace and stability in the region, and promote mutual understanding and dialogues.
According to a statement issued by the Indian Army, the conference will be attended by the Commanders-in-Chief of the United States, France, and the United Kingdom and their representatives.
