The negotiation between the campaigner E: and Kathmandu Metropolitan City is underway.
Nabin Manandhar, the spokesperson of the KMC, is leading the talks team representing the metropolis while a group led by campaigner E: is participating in the talks from the protesting side.
Mayor Balen Shah is not participating in the talks, sources have said. The talks are underway between the KMC and the campaigner E: in front of Rastriya Sabha Griha (City Hall).
The campaigner E: had been staging a sit-in in front of the City Hall putting forth demands including the proper management of street vendors.
Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol had met with the campaigner E: and promised him that she would facilitate talks.
