Acting Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has said that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s China visit has been successful.
Khadka, who is also the Vice President of the Nepali Congress, said this while speaking at a press meet organized at Birendranagar on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister reached an agreement on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in line with the consent of the ruling alliance.
“The agreements and the memorandum of understanding (MoU) reached with the China government are in the interest of the country,” said Khadka, “All the parties of the ruling alliance are in support of the agreements reached between Nepal and China.”
On a different note, Khadka said that the government will not back off from implementing the federalism. “The government will not backtrack from the implementation of the federalism,” said Khadka, “Federal Education Bill has been tabled in the parliament.”
Citizens have not realized the federalism due to the federal government’s failure to enact laws on time, said Khadka.
The government is making preparations to amend laws to remove obstacles seen in the construction of roads in forest areas.
He also called for support from one and all for the upgradation of the Surkhet Airport.
