Foreign Minister NP Saud has held discussions with Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Hanan Goder. Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders dwelled on the ruthless attack carried out by the Palestine group Hamas on Israel.
Minister Saud during the meeting inquired about the condition of Israel and Israeli people, security of the Nepalis, the treatment of those injured and their rescue.
In reply, Ambassador Goder expressed commitment that the Israeli government will leave no stone unturned for the security of the Nepali people and the treatment of the injured.
Goder also thanked the Nepal government for the sympathies extended to the Israel at this time of critical juncture.
Nepali nationals in Israel have continued to suffer due to the ongoing war between the Palestinian militant group Hamas and the Israeli army.
According to the information provided by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), three Nepali nationals have gone out of contact since Saturday morning and nine others were injured in the attack.
Nine Nepalis, who went from Nepal to Israel's Sedot Negev Agriculture Training Center for internship, sustained injuries and two of them are in serious condition.
There were 17 Nepali people in that agricultural center. Nine of them were injured while others were rescued safely.
Meanwhile, 11 students who went to Israel from Sudurpaschim Province on learn-and-earn visa are reportedly hiding in a bunker to save their lives.
