Staffers including Ambassador in Israel discharging duties from bunker: Govt

The government has said that the Nepali ambassador to Israel and other officials are discharging their duties from the bunker.

Speaking at a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal, who is also the spokesperson, informed that the staffers including the ambassador are working from the bunker.

She further said that there is no permission to go out of the bunker due to the ongoing war.

In the case of Bipin Joshi, who is missing, she informed that efforts are being made to track him down by showing his photograph and passport photocopy in various hospitals.

She said that the Israeli government has been requested to hand over the bodies of the deceased Nepalis.
