Foreign Minister NP Saud is leaving for conflict-hit Israel for the rescue of Nepali citizens.
A wide-body airbus of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is flying to Israel to rescue the stranded Nepalis on Wednesday night.
Deepak Joshi, the chief personal secretary of Minister Saud, informed that Foreign Minister Saud himself is going to board the plane.
The airbus is scheduled to take off at 11 pm tonight. A rule has it that a permission to fly and land the plane is mandatory due to ongoing war between Israel and Palestinian militant group Hamas.
The government has already taken approval from Israel to this effect, the Foreign Ministry said.
Out of 350 Nepalis who came into contact with the Nepali Embassy, 288 have filled out online forms seeking repatriation.
There are 4,500 care givers in Israel and 265 Nepali students, of which 10 students lost their lives in the attack carried out by Hamas.
