The newly elected president of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Badri KC has taken charge of his office.
The office-bearers along with the president KC elected from the 11th convention held in Kathmandu resumed their duties at the central office of the association on Saturday.
A new central working committee has been elected under the leadership of the incumbent president KC through the convention. Most of the candidates have been elected from KC's panel.
Most of the candidates close to the ruling party Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Center) have been defeated.
A group of defeated candidates went to the Prime Minister and complained that the election was rigged.
The rest of the process was postponed on Friday following a dispute over the results of the elections held at the convention.
