Govt decides to prorogue Parliament session

The government has decided to prorogue the current session of the Parliament.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held this morning decided to recommend the President to end the parliament session.

After the cabinet meeting, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala informed Nepalkhabar that a cabinet meeting this morning decided to recommend the President to prorogue the Parliament session.

A provision has it that the President will call and prorogue the session of the Parliament based on the recommendation of the government.
