NC's Yogesh Gauchan wins polls in Mustang

Yogesh Gauchan Thakali of the ruling Nepali Congress has emerged victorious in Mustang.

Gauchan, 29, won the elections by defeating CPN UML's Prem Tulachan. He garnered 3,992 votes while his arch rival Tulachan got 3,078 votes. Thakali is presently a member of the party's Gandaki Province Committee.
