The Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Tibet Autonomous Regional Committee is arriving in Nepal next week.
Wang Junzheng, who has been the party chief of the Tibet Autonomous Region for two years, is coming on a two-day visit (next Wednesday and Thursday/November 8 and 9), leading a delegation.
When Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) visited China last month, he was welcomed in Tibet by Party Secretary Wang himself. Bilateral relations and matters of interest were discussed during the meeting between the two leaders.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Prachanda invited him to visit Nepal. Accepting the invitation of Prime Minister Prachanda, he is going to visit Nepal next week.
During his stay in Kathmandu, Wang will meet with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), Deputy Prime Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, who is in charge of the Ministry of Defense, and another Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, sources have said.
