President Paudel to fly to France on Nov 8

Cabinet approves foreign visits of 3 ministers and CIAA chief

President Ramchandra Paudel is embarking on an official visit to France, the Federal Republic of Germany and Italy starting November 8.

A cabinet meeting held on Thursday approved the visit of the president.

Similarly, the meeting of the Council of the Ministers approved the separate foreign trips of three ministers including one state minister and Chief Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation Abuse of Authority (CIAA).

 President Paudel will first head to Paris to attend Paris Peace Forum and then to the Federal Republic of Germany and Italy. President will return home on November 17.

Similarly, the cabinet meeting has allowed the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka to participate in the 18th edition of Dubai Airshow 2023 to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Likewise, the cabinet meeting has allowed Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal to participate in the Sixth China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai, China. 

Similarly, Minister of State for Education, Science and Technology Pramila Kumari will participate in the Belt and Road Conference on Science and Technology Exchange Program to be held in Chongqing of China from November 6 to 7.

CIAA Chief Prem Kumar Rai will take part in the 10th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) to be held in Atlanta from December 11-15, 2023, according to the cabinet decision.
