Model and cine artist Deepasha BC has passed away on Thursday.
BC, who was rushed to Norvic Hospital by her family members after she consumed poison on Wednesday night, breathed her last this afternoon, according to the hospital.
According to the hospital she passed away around 12 pm today. Cine artists have been offering condolences by posting her image on social networking sites.
A police official at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, has also confirmed that Deepasha passed away in the course of treatment at Norvic Hospital.
Born in Surkhet, BC had started her film career after she succeeded in making it to the top 20 in the contest of ‘Ko Banchha Kalakar’ organized by Gopi Krishna Movies in 2011.
In the course of participating in the contest, she met with Shovit Basnet, a Nepali film actor and director, in Kathmandu. Having seen her talent, Basnet offered her a role in a Nepali film ‘Dulahi Rani’.
Besides, she has performed in some films and music videos including ‘Yahi Ta Hola Maya Bhaneko’.
