Imagine that you’re trapped in that situation… just imagination… that is why we are asking for a ceasefire." Expressing his views at the meeting of the UN Security Council, Mr. Vassily A. Nebenzia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, said, “We believe that the first step in that direction would be a prompt ceasefire in the Israeli-Palestine conflict zone." Mansour, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, called for a halt to the massacre right away, asking a question, "Bombs dropping on schools, universities, UN shelters…where should Palestinians go? To the sea or out of the Gaza Strip?”

Mansour further said they met again when 11,000 were killed in Gaza including 4,500 children… in these walls if they can hear well… the shouts of our children…abandoned by humanity."
