Nepali national men's football team is leaving for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to play against the UAE as part of the 2nd round of FIFA World Cup 2026 and joint qualifiers for AFC Asia Cup 2027.
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has informed that the Nepali team will leave for UAE at 3 pm today.
Nepal is scheduled to take on UAE on November 16 in Dubai and Yemen on November 21 at Dasharath Stadium.
UAE, Bahrain and Yemen and Nepal are in Group H in the second round of World Cup Asia Qualifiers. Similarly, Nepal defeated Laos in the first round of the World Cup qualifiers to qualify for the second round.
Nepali players who will play against UAE include Kiran Kumar Limbu, Deep Karki, Abhishek Baral, Sanish Shrestha, Rohit Chand, Anjan Rai, Ashish Chaudhary, Amrit Shrestha, Arik Bista, and Chhiring Lama, Yogesh Gurung, Laken Limbu, Utsav Rai, Kritish Ratna Chhunju, Manish Dangi. , Sesehang Angdembe, Nishan Hamal, Anjan Bista, Ayush Ghalan, Gillespye Jung Karki, Hishub Thapaliya, Sanjeev Bista and Rajesh Pariyar.
