Yug Pathak trails by 56 as KP Oli leads with over 11,000 votes in Jhapa-5

Writer-turned politician Yug Pathak who fielded his candidacy against CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli from Jhapa-5 has not crossed double-digit votes.

According to the latest vote-count updates, Oli is taking lead with 11,028 votes while Pathak, who is contesting the elections with butterfly as an election symbol, is trailing behind with 56 votes.

Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Khagendra Adhikari, who is backed by the ruling alliance, has 6,516 votes.

Suresh Kumar Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) garnered 1,904 votes.
