Ambassador Shrestha presents credentials

Nepali Ambassador to China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, presented a Letter of Credence to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Nyamdorj Ankhbayar, on Wednesday. Shrestha is a non-resident ambassador to Mongolia.

According to a press release issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, the State Secretary welcomed Ambassador Shrestha and stated that Mongolia was ready to widen the cooperation between the two countries and highlighted the need to hold regular meetings of the Bilateral Consultation Mechanism.

The State Secretary expressed his desire to host the next follow up meeting any time after the winter. Presenting his copy of the credentials, Ambassador Shrestha also stressed on working together for exchanges of high-level visits which will further strengthen our relations.

He also underscored the need of air connectivity between Nepal and Mongolia in order to strengthen the people-to-people relations.

State Secretary Nyamdorj assured all possible support and cooperation to the Ambassador in his effort to enhance the relations between the two countries, the press release added.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia were present in the meeting.
