Janamat Party secures first-ever victory in Mades, wins Saptari-2 (B)

Janamat Party candidate Mahesh Yadav has been elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly from Saptari-2 (B).

This is the first-ever victory that the CK Raut-led party secured in Madhes Province.

Janamat Party candidate Yadav bagged 13,325 votes while his rival CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Umesh Yadav garnered 7,023 votes. However, the official result is yet to be made public by the Election Commission.  

Meanwhile, Janamat Party candidate Satish Singh is close to win provincial assembly elections in Saptari-2 (A). As per the latest vote count results, Singh has bagged 14,322 while Janata Samajbadi Party candidate Shailendra Shah is trailing behind with 6,749 votes.
