UML takes lead in PR votes, NC placed second, RSP third

The results of the House of Representatives (HoR) and Provincial Assembly (PA) elections held on November 20 are coming out.

The election results for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system as well as the proportional representation (PR) system are also being made public.

According to the latest updates provided by the Election Commission (EC), UML is ahead with 210,383 PR votes to the HoR as of Wednesday morning.

The Nepali Congress (NC) is following with 187,275 PR votes, while the Rastriya Swatantra Party led by Ravi Lamichhane is in the third place with 97,705 votes.

PR votes obtained by other parties:
CPN (Maoist Centre)/(Nepal Samajbadi Party): 86,963

Rastriya Prajatantra Party: 50,345

Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal: 15,988

Janamat Party: 15,661

Nepal Workers and Peasants Party: 12,834

CPN (Unified Socialist): 11,285

Nagarik Unmukti Party: 9,820

Others: 44,427 (Source: Election Commission)
