Dhami clinches PA seat from Darchula (A)

Bikram Singh Dhami, the common candidate of the Left-Democratic Alliance, has been elected as the member of Province Assembly (PA) from Darchula constituency (A).

Dhami garnered 15,127 votes and his closest contender Hardev Joshi of the CPN-UML polled 13,451. Similarly, Shankar Singh Dhami, an independent candidate, secured 1,418 votes, the District Election Officer's Office said.

There were 51,047 voters in Darchula PA constituency (A) and the voter turnout stood at 31,542. Of them, 1,134 votes were invalid. (RSS)
