Shishir Khanal, the candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the elections to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu-6.
According to the final results announced by the Election Commission on Wednesday, Khanal garnered 14,204 votes to win the elections.
His rival Sarvendra Khanal, the candidate of CPN-UML secured 8,911 votes.
Likewise, Nepali Congress candidate and former Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan became second with 8,805 votes.
