NC’s Ram Hari Khatiwada wins HoR Seat in Okhaldhunga

Ram Hari Khatiwada has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Okhaldhunga.

Khatiwada defeated Yagya Raj Sunuwar of CPN-UML with a margin of 6,818 votes.

According to the election updates made public by the Election Commission, Khatiwada of the ruling alliance secured 33,556 votes while his closest rival Sunuwar of CPN-UML got 26,738 votes.

With this win, Khatiwada managed to avenge the defeat he had faced in the elections of 2074 BS.

Similarly, Pradeep Sunuwar of NC has been elected as a member to the Province Assembly from Okhaldhunga (A) and Baburam Gautam of CPN (Maoist Center) from (B).
