Deputy General Secretary of the CPN-UML Prithvi Subba Gurung has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Lamjung.
Gurung defeated General Secretary of the CPN (Maoist Center) Dev Prasad Gurung by 3,0188 votes.
Elected Gurung garnered 34969 votes while rival candidate secured 31781 votes. Rashtriya Swatantra Party candidate Dharma KC is in the third position with 9029 votes.
Of the total 1,33,559 eligible voters, 80192 votes were cast. A total of 2384 votes were invalidated.
