EC publishes PA election results

In Sarlahi-4, Nepali Congress candidate Birendra Prasad Singh has been reelected to the Province Assembly (A). He obtained 15,693 votes against 14,616 by Ram Babu Yadav of CPN-UML.

In Siraha-4, Janamat Party’s Tribhuvan Sah has been elected to the Province Assembly (A) by defeating Mahendra Paswan of CPN (Maoist Center). Sah wins the elections with 8,229 votes against 7,083 by Paswan.

In Solukhumbu Province Assembly (A), Gombu Sherpa (Karjyang) of CPN (Maoist Center) who competed the election as the ruling alliance common candidate has emerged victorious. He secured 10,035 votes against 8,398 by Uttam Kumar Basnet of the CPN-UML.

In Dailekh-1, ruling alliance candidate Krishna Kumar BC of the Nepali Congress has won the election towards the Province Assembly (A) with 10,544 against 9,468 by Prem Bahadur Thapa of CPN-UML.

In Dhanusha-2, Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal’s Ram Ashih Yadav has been reelected from the Province Assembly (B) with 10,614 against 9,566 by Shyam Kumar Yadav of CPN (Maoist Centre).

In Kanchanpur-1, CPN-UML candidate Bir Bahadur Thapa has win the election held under the Province Assembly (A) with 12,359 votes against 11,006 by Bandhu Rana of Nepali Congress .

In Panchthar, ruling alliance candidates have win the elections in both Province Assembly constituencies. Kamal Prasad Jabegu has emerged victorious in the Province Assembly (A) with 16,837 against 16,204 by Raj Kumar Bhandari of CPN-UML.

Similarly, Indra Bahadur Angbo of CPN (Maoist Centre) has win the election in the Province Assembly (B) with 15,672 votes against 12,605 by Aindra Sundar Nembang of the CPN-UML.

In Bhaktapur-1, Surendra Raj Gosai of Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party has emerged victorious in the Province Assembly (A) with 29,704 votes against Pawan Bhuju’s counts tally 3,161. The vote margin between the two was 26,543.

In Saptari-1, CPN-UML’s Rajan Kumar Lekhi has defeated Shiva Nandan Mehata of Janamat Party to win the election to the Province Assembly (A). Lekhi secured 14,219 votes while Mehata obtained 9,093. (RSS)
