NC's Shekhar Koirala elected HoR member from Morang-6

Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Morang-6.

Koirala defeated his closest rival Lal Babu Pandit of CPN-UML by a margin of 12,284 votes.

According to the final vote count results, he garnered 35,213 votes while Pandit received 22,929 votes.

Similarly, Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Yadav Kumar Pradhan got 8,531 votes.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Gopal Chhetri received 8,484 votes.
