Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Anita Shah, who went to participate in 'Dhoti Day', celebrations has been arrested by the police on Monday morning. She is an influential leader of Janamat Party.

The police arrested 63 people, including the minister, after Janamat Party staged a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala, a prohibited area designated by the government, this morning. Minister Shah went to participate in the demonstration immediately after the cabinet meeting held this morning.

The police arrested 63 people including party Chairman CK Raut, Vice Chairman Abdul Khan, secretary BP Shah, leader Deepak Shah and now have been kept at Mahendra Police Club.
