Chandra Bhandari elected by beating Gyawali in Gulmi-1

Chandra Bhandari of Nepali Congress has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Gulmi-1.

Bhandari defeated CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali by a margin of 1,177 votes.

According to the latest vote-count updates, Bhandari garnered 32,573 votes while his closest rival Gyawali got 31,396 votes.

Gyawali had been elected from this constituency in the elections of 2074.

The election result is yet to officially be announced by the Election Commission.
