NC wins 52 seats, UML 38, Maoist Center 17 as results of 152 constituencies unveiled (with list)

Of the total 165 constituencies under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) category of the House of Representatives (HoR), the final results of 152 constituencies have been made public.

The results of the remaining 13 constituencies are yet to come. Among those declared, Nepali Congress has won the highest 52 FPTP seats followed by CPN-UML with 38 seats. CPN (Maoist Center) has won 17 seats while CPN (Unified Socialist) has won 10 seats.

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), which was formed in the run-up-to the elections have won seven seats. Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) which contested the elections under the electoral alliance with CPN-UML garnered an equal number of seven seats.

Likewise, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) in an alliance with UML has won six and Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has won four seats.

The results of 10 constituencies including Udayapur-1, Dhanusha-4, Ramechhap, Ilam-1 and 2, Sunsari-1, 3 and 4, Mahottari-1 are yet to come. The vote counting of three constituencies-2, Dolakha, Bajura and Syangja have been stalled.
