NC candidate Tamang emerges victorious in Ramechhap

Nepali Congress candidate Purna Bahadur Tamang

Purna Bahadur Tamang of Nepali Congress has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Ramechhap.

Tamang garnered 47, 098 votes to beat his closest competitor Kailash Prasad Dhungel of CPN (UML) who received 30, 729 votes. The vote difference between the two is 16,369.

Tamang had lost the parliamentarian elections of 2074 BS.
