NC leading in 3, UML 2 and RSP 1 as vote count underway in 6 constituencies

Vote count yet to start in Bajura, Dolakha and Syangja 2

The results of 156 constituencies under the first-past-the-post category of the House of Representatives (HoR) have been announced. The results of nine constituencies are yet to unveiled.

Of the nine constituencies, the vote-count of three constituencies – Dolakha, Syangja and Bajura have yet to start. Currently, the vote-count is underway in six constituencies.

Of the six constituencies, Nepali Congress is taking lead in three constituencies, CPN-UML in two and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is taking lead in one constituency.

UML candidate Mahesh Basnet is taking lead with 20,385 votes in the vote-count in Ilam -1. Jhala Nath Khanal of CPN (Unified Socialist) following with 18, 205 votes.

 RSP is taking lead with 12,855 votes in Sunsari-1, followed by Ashok Kumar Rai of Janata Samajbadi Party with 12,504 votes.

 Similarly, UML’s Bhagawati Chaudhary is leading with 16,005 votes followed by Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar with 11,695 votes in Sunsari-3.

Gyanendra Bahadur Karki is leading with 23,439 votes followed by 23,341 votes of Jagadish Prasad Kusiyait in Sunsari-4. The vote difference between the two is 98 votes.

 Likewise, NC Candidate Narayan Khadka is leading with 21,833 votes in Udayapur-1. UML’s Manju Chaudhary is following with 20,120 votes.

 In Dhanusha-4, NC’s Mahendra Yadav is leading with 21,224 votes followed by UML’s Raghubir Mahaseth with 20,203 votes.
