Shree Airlines conducts flight to Mt Kailash and Mansarovar

Shree Airlines has conducted a mountain flight to Mt Kailash and Mansarobar from Nepalgunj for the first time in history.

An aircraft of Shree Airlines, CRJ 700 9N, undertook the mountain flight to Mt Kailash and Mansarovar from Nepalgunj.

“An aircraft of Shree Airlines has successfully conducted a mountain flight from Nepalgunj to Mt Kailash and Mansarovar,” said Corporate Manager Anil Manandhar.

This is the first flight by Shree Airlines to Mt Kailash and Mansarovar from Nepal side. The flight project from Nepalgunj aims to attract domestic and foreign tourists including Indians, said the airlines company.

The flight of Shree Airlines that took off from Nepalgunj on Monday morning has cruised a flight at an altitude of 27,000 feet in collaboration with Temple Tour Group India, Siddhartha Hospitality Group Nepalgunj and Path Hill Holidays, Kathmandu.

Captained by Prafulla Baidya and Rajesh Shrestha, there were a total of 49 people including five crew members on board the flight.

The Shree Airlines Company has planned to conduct flights from Nepalgunj to Mt Kailash and Mansarovar and then to Kathmandu enabling pilgrims to visit Pashupatinath Temple.
