Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is going to form a new Council of Ministers today.

After breaking the alliance with the Nepali Congress, Prime Minister Prachanda is going to form a small cabinet with a new alliance with the CPN (UML).

According to sources, a four-member cabinet is being formed on Monday. The remaining ministerial portfolios will be shared following a negotiation with the new coalition parties.

UML is making preparations to send Padam Giri as a minister to the government today, sources have said.

The secretariat meeting held at Balkot on Monday morning decided to participate in the government and send Giri as a minister. UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has already reached Baluwatar after the secretariat meeting.

Oli reached Baluwatar along with Vice Chairman Bishnu Paudel. Similarly, Barshaman Pun from CPN (Maoist Center) is again becoming a minister. However, the ministerial portfolio has not been finalized yet.
