Oli inaugurating UML district convention in Kanchanpur today

CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli is inaugurating the district convention of UML Kanchanpur District Committee today.

Chairman Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the district convention at Sambidhan Chowk in Bhimdatta Municipality-4, informed Pallav Raj Bhatta, the secretary of the UML Kanchanpur District Committee.

Prior to this, Oli will arrive in Dhangadhi at 9 am and inaugurate the construction of three buildings in Kanchanpur district.

According to Secretary Bhatta, Oli will first inaugurate the ward office building in Dodhara Chandani Municipality-6 and then observe the construction site of the dry port to be built in Dodhara Chandani.

He will then inaugurate the building of Madan Bhandari Basic School before arriving at Sambidhan Chowk to inaugurate the district convention.

He is also scheduled to inaugurate the building of Shuklaphanta Multi Technical Training School at Jhalari in Shuklaphanta Municipality. He will return to Kathmandu today itself.

Four leaders are in the fray for the post of chairman of UML Kanchanpur District Committee. Acting Chairman Laxmi Budha, Secretary Pallav Raj Bhatta, and leaders Ashok Chand and Hira Chand are vying for the post.

A total of 464 representatives are participating in the district convention, according to the UML.
