Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ appointed Dipak Karki, a Member of Parliament (MP) of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), as a state minister today.
Karki, who had been elected as an MP to the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-1, has been inducted as the Minister of State for Forest and Environment.
Prime Minister Prachanda has expanded his cabinet for the third time today after the new ruling coalition including the CPN (UML) was formed on March 4.
Karki is taking the oath of office and secrecy at the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today itself.
