Nepal set a 157-run target for Baroda in a SMS Friendship Cup T20 Tri-Series tournament underway in Gurjarat on Tuesday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at the Sai Meghpan Sporrtslife Ground, Nepal notched up 156 runs losing six wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Kushal Malla made the highest 40 runs including three fours and two sixes off 25 deliveries followed by Sundeep Jora with 29 runs. Similarly, Anil Sah, Rohit Paudel and Gulsan Jha contributed 25, 18 and 13 runs, respectively. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
On the bowling side, Baba Khan took two wickets for Baroda. Mohit Mongia and Parikshit Patidar grabbed one wicket each.
