Ireland A sets 285-run target for Nepal A in ODI series

Visiting Ireland A has set a 285-run target for Nepal A in the third unofficial ODI cricket tournament underway in Kirtipur on Sunday.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Ireland A notched up 284 runs losing nine wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Stephen Doheny made the highest score with 107 runs including eight fours and two sixes off 129 deliveries followed by Peter Moor with 44 runs.

Similarly, Matthew Humphreys contributed 23 runs while Morgan Topping and Fionn Hand grabbed 21 and 20 runs, respectively.

In reply, Rijan Dhakal and Ranjit Kumar took three wickets each giving away 75 and 51 runs, respectively while  Bikash Aagri and Shahab Alam took one wicket each for Nepal.
