Gold reaches all-time high, hits Rs 136,800 per tola

The price of gold has reached an all-time high on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold has increased by Rs 500 to reach at Rs 136,800 per tola today.

Similarly, the tejabi gold is being sold for Rs 136,150 per tola. The price of silver increased by Rs 15 to reach at 1,700 per tola.

The price of hallmark gold was Rs 136,300 and that of tejabi Rs 135,650 per tola on Tuesday. Similarly, the price of gold was Rs 1,650 per tola.

The gold is being sold for US $2,357 per ounce in the international market, news agencies have said.
