The meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed till April 14 following disruptions by main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
Nepali Congress and RPP interrupted the meeting of the House of Representatives on Wednesday afternoon after the MPs put forth their views at an emergency time and special time.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire urged them time and again not to disrupt the meeting after NC and RPP MPs stood up and kept disrupting the HoR meeting.
NC has been demanding a parliamentary probe committee to investigate Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane over his alleged involvement into the misuse of funds from a Pokhara-based cooperative firm.
On the other hand RPP disrupted the meeting demanding resignation of Lamichhane stating that the government suppressed its demonstration staged in the capital on Tuesday.
Speaker Ghimire adjourned the meeting till April 14 after the two parties continued disrupting the meeting.
