UML conclave concludes endorsing action plan on party reform

The meeting of the National Convention Representatives Council of the CPN (UML) has concluded endorsing an action plan on organizational reform.

The two-day council meeting of the UML which kicked off at Godawari on Saturday has come to an end today. UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli had presented a political dossier while General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel tabled the organization report in the first day of the meeting. 

Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Rimal presented various 13 proposals on contemporary politics in the meeting, publicity department chief Gautam said, adding that even the reports by central disciplinary commission, central account commission, central election commission, and central advisory councils of the party were presented.

The meeting attended by 2,454 representatives resolved to make the current ruling alliance sustainable, and result-oriented, according to Deputy General Secretary Rimal.

A group-wise discussion was held on the political dossier before passing the action plan on bringing a massive overhaul in the organizational reforms.

The UML is also celebrating the diamond jubilee of its establishment by organizing a special ceremony at Godawari on Monday.

Meanwhile, the UML has also decided to honor former President Bidya Bhandari with Ganatantra Gaurav Padak on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of the establishment of the party.
