Chakra Bahadur Budha has been appointed as the Director General of the Department of Revenue Investigation.
Prior to it, Nawa Raj Dhungana was the DG of this Department.
Budha was appointed to the post after Dhungana courted controversies over the revenue embezzlement issue and a case was registered against at the High Court Patan.
The DRI lies within the purview of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
Budha had been transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister from the Department of Tourism on April 26.
