Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has lashed the prices of petroleum products.
According to a press note issued by the state oil monopoly on Friday, the NOC reduced the price of petrol by Rs 3 and diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per liter.
With the new price adjustment, the petrol will now cost Rs 168 per liter.
Similarly, diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 153 per liter.
The price of aviation turbine fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPF) has remained unchanged, according to the NOC.
The new price will take effect from Saturday.
The NOC announced a reduction in petroleum product prices, in line with the recent price decrease for the same goods implemented by the Indian Oil Corporation.
