Rajeev Gurung, an independent candidate elected as a member of Gandaki Province Assembly m from Manang (2) has joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
He was elected unopposed after the ruling alliance and CPN (UML) did not file any candidacy against him.
At a programme organised at the residence of CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal at Koteshwor on Monday, Chair Nepal welcomed Gurung in the party.
