Floods and landslides as heavy rain batters country (photos)

With the heavy rain pouring down, the normal life has been affected across the country. Floods and landslides have occurred in various parts of the country.

All the sluice gates of the Saptakohi River have been opened after the water level continued to rise. Meanwhile, the bodies of two people washed away by the Rapti River have been recovered. With this, the death toll from the floods and landlides in the last two days in the country has reached 14. 

Similarly, due to the incessant rains, the Deukhuri, the capital city of Lumbini, has been inundated.
