Cabinet decides to upgrade Kritipur Cricket Stadium in next 300 days

A first meeting of the Council of Ministers led by newly appointed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has decided to upgrade Kirtipur Cricket Stadium.

The meeting convened at Singha Durbar a while ago decided to equip the cricket stadium in Kirtipur with a parapet for audience safety and floodlights for night matches.

 “The first cabinet meeting has decided to equip Kirtipur Cricket Stadium with a parapet for audience safety and floodlights for night matches,” said Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chairman of CPN (UML), following the meeting.

 A 300-day deadline has been set for the completion of this work, Oli added.

Similarly, the cabinet has also decided to provide the same level of relief to the families of those missing in floods and landslides for over 10 days, as it does for confirmed casualties. 

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung said, “the cabinet has also decided to provide the same level relief to the families of those missing in floods and landslides for over 10 days, as it does for confirmed casualties.”
