Nepali Congress is participating in the Madhesh Province government, NC Madhesh Province Parliamentary Party leader Krishna Yadav said.
According to Yadav, NC is sending a team of four ministers under the leadership of Province Assembly member Janardan Singh Chhetri today.
Chhetri will take charge of the Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives. Similarly, Sunil Kumar Yadav is set to become the Minister for Finance, Shesh Narayan Yadav (Energy, Irrigation and Water Supply), and Kaushal Kishor Raya will lead the Ministry of Labor and Transport.
Preparations are underway to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected ministers today itself, added Yadav.
Earlier, Nepali Congress was in the mood to withdraw its support to the Mahesh government if the party was not given to lead the Finance Ministry.
However, NC decided to join the government after Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh agreed to hand over the Finance Ministry to it.
