Rimal appointed PM’s Chief Political Advisor; Development Advisor Khatiwada

Deputy General Secretary of CPN (UML) Bishnu Rimal has been appointed as the Chief Political Advisor to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers convened in Singha Durbar on Thursday decided to appoint Rimal as the Chief Political Advisor to the Prime Minister, a minister privy to the meeting told Nepalkhabar. 

Rimal had been the Chief Political Advisor when Oli was the Prime Minister in the past, too.

Similarly, Dr. Yubaraj Kahatiwada has been appointed as the Chief Development Advisor to the Prime Minister. He had become the Finance Minister when Oli was the Prime Minister in 2074 BS.

He had briefly served as the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisor after he was relieved of the member of the National Assembly.
