Documentary 'The Unsilenced' to be screened on Oct 6

The documentary 'The Unsilenced' produced by Pramod Lamichhane is set to be screened in Nepal.

The company has said it will be screened at CDC Cinemas in CTC Mall in Kathmandu on October 6.

Directed by Tosit Ghatane, the documentary vividly portrays the struggles of four women navigating societal norms and rebuilding their lives. A one-hour and nine-minute documentary presents the life journey of Radha, Maya, Sundari, and Sukun.

The price of a ticket is set at Rs 750.

After screening in Nepal, The Unsilenced will be shown at the Palace Central Cinemas in Sydney, Australia, on October 31. Similarly, it will be screened at Laemmle Theaters in California, USA, on January 10, 2025.

This documentary has already participated in various international film festivals and won awards, the company said.
