Chief of Sudurpashchim Province, Nazir Miya, has called on the political parties, representing in the Province Assembly, to stake a claim for a new Chief Minister of the Province.
The parties were summoned to submit a claim for the new Chief Minister by 5:00 pm this coming Sunday, according to a statement issued by the Office of the Province Chief on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Dirgha Bahadur Sodari resigned from the post.
Chief Minister Sodari announced his resignation paving the way for the formation of a new government in the wake of a changed political context.
